Intermediate Obedience
Few people enter obedience training with any concept of how much fun they’re about to have, or how deeply they’re about to bond with their dog. These two incredibly powerful side effects of Beginner Obedience compel many students to take training one step further.
Intermediate Obedience bridges the gap between just getting started and getting serious about obedience training. This class helps you polish the skills you learned in Beginner class, introduces you to off-leash training, using hand signals, and prepares you for more advanced training. Intermediate class is where the serious fun begins!
The six-week course meets every Tuesday night for one hour, beginning at 7:45 p.m.
Requirements: Dogs must have completed a Beginner Obedience class at The Canine Connection or pass an proficiency evaluation conducted by one of our training professionals. Dogs must be current on all vaccinations. Bordetella vaccination must be within the last six months.
Cost: $75.00 (plus tax)

The Canine Connection's Intermediate class was a great learning environment for our 2-year old Great Dane, Stella, to work on her obedience skills. The instructors were very helpful and informative, providing advice to specific issues attendees were having with their dogs. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to add to their dog's heeling skills, improve their sit-stays & down-stays, and polish overall good dog behavior! Thanks Val!
